Swedish guitarist/composer/producer
Peter Friestedt first album “The L.A. Project” is a collaboration
with some of L.A.’s finest musicians and was recorded in North
Hollywood, CA between 1999 and 2002. The album features Bill
Champlin (lead singer of Chicago) and Joseph Williams (former
TOTO singer and son of legendary film composer John Williams).
Three of the songs on the CD are co-written by Champlin.
The rhythm section consists
of some of the most in demand session players in L.A.: Abraham
Laboriel (Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson); Yellowjackets;
Ralph Humphrey (Al Jarreau, The Manhattan Transfer) to name
a few. Peter has used the latest recording techniques. Together
with Ronny Lahti (Roxette, Robyn) and Rich Breen (Yellowjackets)
he has mixed a high quality sounding CD. It was mastered by
Björn Engelman (Westlife, Britney Spears).
