{2000 - King Records (Japan)}, The Last Standing Man
{1998 - Escape Music (Europe)/Avex (Japan)},
Mr. Lucky (1996 - Escape
Music), Runaway (1984 - MCA), and Dakota (1980
- CBS/Columbia). Dakota
and Runaway have both been re-mastered
and re-released, each now containing bonus tracks.
The Last Standing Man
and Lost Tracks (a 1987 album, produced
locally on DAK Records, and later released as Mr. Lucky)
have been re-mastered and re-packaged (along with five bonus
tracks) as a 2-CD set. All are available online through Melody
Boulevard (http://www.melodyblvd.com/).
Dakota
was formed in 1977, after Kelly and Hludzik left
their previous band, The Buoys (who had the top-15 single,
Timothy, written by Rupert Holmes). Kelly and Hludzik
called their group The Jerry-Kelly
Band, and released one album (1978
- Somebody Else’s Dream, CBS/Epic) under that name before
changing the name to Dakota.
