Q. You have done in my opinion a great
CD production, how does it feel?
Peter:
Thank you for your kind words Bengt. It feels very nice to finally
present the album that I have been working on for three years.
It is a collection of songs that I have been written over the
last 7-8 years.
Q. What are you doing
right now, just take it easy or do you write some music?
Peter:
The major work right now is on promoting the CD as much as I
can, I have learned so much about the music business from making
this record. I am putting together a pro-tools studio and trying
to learn the equipment well enough to overdub my own guitar
for records and stuff. I have also been writing a few new tracks
for a second CD that I might start working on this fall.
Q. Do you have any
more recording plans?
Peter:
Yes I definitely do.
Q. It's a great line
up you have on The L.A Project. How is it to work with this
guys?
Peter:
I feel very blessed to have had the chance to work with these
people that are playing on the record. They are some of my favourite
musicians and became good friends of mine.
It was just a very friendly vibe to this whole recording and
I got invited home to Russ’ and Bill’s houses to go through
arrangements; Bill also made his studio available for press
people to do interviews and stuff. I will be forever thankful
for all their help.
To say that I am the producer of the CD is really a modification
of the truth. I got so much help from all the talented musicians
involved.
Q. Do you think It's
possible for us to see you on a tour with The L.A Project?
Peter:
Nothing is set yet but I hope to be able to give you some more
details on what will happen with this quite soon, tune in at

Q. Did you play in
any established bands before The L.A Project?
Peter:
I did a lot of different gigs before The L.A.- Project, to mention
some I did gigs with some quite well known gospel artists in
Sweden as well as some Big Band gigs.
Q. How do you see the
future of this genre that L.A Project are in?
Peter:
I think there might be a future for the genre, in LA I found
out about the big smooth jazz scene. It is a radio channel
where
they play some classic tracks like The Crusaders “Street Life”
and Bobby Caldwell's “What you won’t do for love” along with
some
instrumental music. There are also a lot of websites
on the net that care about this music like your one for instance.
