HAWK is an artist who commands immediate attention. Like a
magnet, his deep soulful voice and exciting guitar playing
invariably draws audiences towards him.
Appearing
on numerous radio programs, HAWK has become increasingly
popular over the past few years. He has performed and
recorded with many of Denmark’s most respected artists and
several internationally acclaimed top musicians. His warm
soulful voice creating the backing track for two major
TV-series. His latest CD LOOKING FOR LOVE was nominated
album of the week and is in rotation on Danish national
radio.
Life is full of stories.
Blindness has intensified his
musical expression and given him an edge when it comes to
telling life’s stories from a different angle. Working with
his wife the American poet and lyricist Anna Lia Bright to
create the song-writing team of Bright&Hawk. Writing the
material for all Hawk CD’s and for many other exciting
projects!
Worlds class musicians
Hawk recently recorded with
some of the worlds top musicians! New Yorker and drummer
Nathaniel Townsley who’s toured with one of the 7 wonders of
the world Stevie Wonder himself; Raul Rekow, Santanas
percussionist for the last 32 years (playing on legendary
records like Moon Flower) and Linley Marthe who beyond being
Zawinuls bassist is the only bassist who can blow you away
by his totally unique way of soloing!

PROJECTS

Hawk was instrumental in collecting 2 million DK crowns
for blind African orphans in Rwanda!

He has supported and initiated projects like THE GENETIC
OUTLAWS. A totally outrageous handicap band.

He started “Food in the dark,” a project where the blind
and visually impaired learn to make gourmet dishes.

He was one of the instigators of a tribute concert to
Ray Charles at a Palace outside of Copenhagen.

Is working on a new project called, Dinner in The Dark.
